What is
PicoWay Laser?

PicoWay is the world’s first and only ultra-intelligent picosecond laser device offering seven different wavelength combinations. These wavelengths include 532nm, 730nm, 785nm, 1064nm, 1064nm Resolve, 532nm Resolve, and 532nm Resolve Fusion. The system also boasts the industry’s shortest pulse duration of 250 picoseconds, enabling more efficient pigment breakdown while minimising heat damage to the skin. The innovative dual-focus Fusion fractional technology significantly shortens recovery time, making the treatment process more comfortable and delivering a superior treatment experience.

How It Works

The PicoWay laser utilises ultra-short pulse technology, delivering high-energy laser pulses in picoseconds, which is a fraction of a second, while simultaneously protecting the surrounding skin from overheating or damage. This advanced technology enables the laser to shatter pigment particles into minute fragments, which are naturally eliminated by the body's lymphatic system. Additionally, PicoWay incorporates a dual-focus holographic fractional technology, allowing the laser energy to be more concentrated and reducing heat damage to the surrounding skin, ensuring a safe and comfortable treatment experience.

Treatment Sections

PicoWay is ideal for individuals seeking improvement in pigmentation, hyperpigmentation, acne scars, uneven skin tone, fine lines, or tattoo removal. It is particularly beneficial for those with pigmentation concerns or aging skin, and especially for working professionals and beauty enthusiasts who require minimal downtime. The treatment is not recommended for pregnant women or individuals with photosensitive skin.

FAQS

Pre-treatment preparation

Before undergoing PicoWay treatment, patients should avoid prolonged sun exposure to protect the skin from UV damage. Additionally, they should refrain from using skincare products containing high concentration of retinoids or AHA/BHA acid for three days before the treatment. It is also recommended to maintain adequate sun protection and hydration.

Post-treatment care

After treatment, patients should focus on moisturising and sun protection, avoiding direct sun exposure. Gentle skincare products should be used to keep the skin clean and hydrated. Products containing alcohol or other irritating ingredients should be avoided. Mild redness may occur in some patients, but it typically subsides within a few hours.

Treatment Cycle and Frequency

The number of PicoWay treatments needed depends on the patient’s skin condition and goals. Typically, most patients require 3-5 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart. The results gradually become noticeable, with optimal outcomes usually achieved over several weeks to months.
