Thermage FLX is an advanced non-invasive skin tightening and anti-aging treatment technology. It uses monopolar radio-frequency (RF) energy to penetrate deep into the skin, stimulating collagen production to address skin laxity, wrinkles, and contouring concerns.
Thermage FLX incorporates AccuREP™ technology, a real-time feedback system that automatically adjusts the energy output before each RF pulse is delivered. Thermage FLX uses high-frequency radiofrequency energy to deliver heat deep into the skin layers through monopolar RF technology, stimulating collagen contraction and new collagen formation. During treatment, RF energy generates heat within the skin, causing water molecules in the subcutaneous tissue to vibrate, leading to a thermal effect. Preparation
Stop using strong exfoliants and products with irritating ingredients before the treatment. If there are any skin sun burns or inflammation, wait until it’s recovered.
Aftercare
Avoid makeup for 24 hours, refrain from excessive cleansing and exfoliation. Use gentle and moisturizing skincare products, avoiding excessive sun exposure and activities that would cause heat stimulation.
Frequency
Typically recommended once every 12 months. Thermage stimulates collagen regeneration using mono-polar radio frequency. The effects gradually become visible, usually reaching their peak 2-3 months post-treatment and lasting several months to a year.
